Little Men Who Love Their Converse :)

Oh the little men in our lives, you can't live with them, and you can't live without them. Xander and I, we're like, well, brother and sister. Nephew and Aunt are close enough, I guess. :) One second Xander will freak out if I even look at him, and the next, he hands grandma the camera, climbs on my lap, and smiles. :) Non-the-less, we took the picture, and I love my little man!

The outfits:) My sister inlaw brought Xander over and I absolutly fell IN LOVE with his new little outfit. he was wearing little silver converse high-tops with writting and pictures on them, cuffed jeans, and a be green red and blue striped monster shirt. I thought it was adorable. But the true cute/funny part is when he helped ME get dressed for the day. I am now doing an online school, so I am home all the time, so I don't really care about what I wear or how I look too often. When I said I needed to get dressed, Xander said "HELP!" It was so cute, and how can you say no to cute? ;) So, we went into my room and I opened the shirt drawer, and without a second look xander pulled out my pink and blue striped shirt. Next I opened my jeans drawer, again without taking a second look, he pulled out my one pair of jeans that are too long. I hadn't realized it yet, but it really kicked in when he picked out my converse, ME AND MY NEPHEW MATCHED! KICKER FOR CONVERSE! :)

Tribute To a Friend

Have you ever had a friend? One of those friends who the moment you meet them, you know that you will be at eachothers side for a VERY long time? I guess it's kind of a childish thing. By the end of reses, you've got a best friend your hugging and playing with. I have had many of those friends. They come, they go, and very few stay, which is where my problem evolved. I am very social and have had to let go of many VERY close friends which has at this point, put me into a slight depression each time, but this last December, I had the opportunity to become instant bestfriends with Spencer Koch.

I knew his name, and I knew he was in my seminary class, but I had never TRULY met him until last December, which was when i met, my high school bestfriend. Yes, i am only a quarter through highschool, but in just these 6 months, Spencer has been there for me in EVERY which way. I have been expecting, waiting, and dreading his departure to visit his family for the summer down south. I myself had not been looking forward to it, and i am pretty sure he wasn't either, but he had to go, it was needed.

Until I met Spencer I had been spacing myself from making new friends because of the newly found fear of having to say goodbye, yet again. I knew I wouldn't have to say goodbye (permenantly) to Spencer, but even for 3 months, it nearly killed me.

Jessica, Riess, and I all said our goodbyes after a long hard day of a summer party with Spencer late on Wednesday night.

I walk into my kitchen, dad in bed, mom waiting for my arival at the kitchen counter, tears streaming down my cheek, Spencer's skate board in hand, his sweatshirt draped around me, and a half empty heart, I fell into my mom's arms. I knew it would all be okay eventually, and up untill now, I have been quite composed and been able to keep myself occupied, but I knew it wouldn't last long.

It's hard living without the person who pushes you, motivates you, encourages you, and teaches you. But this will be good for both of us. hopefully.. :/

I would just like to say, to all best friends out there, we love you.

Spencer, I love you! You are such an amazing friend. You have given so much for me, I LOVE YOU! I hope your having a fun trip, and I hope your ready to have Jared cut your hair again. ;)

Brief

GOODNESS! I have not posted in a while. Holy cow, a REALLY long while. So i will just give you a brief on the happenings over the past few months. It's a little out of order, but it's the thought that counts. :)
So far, half way into this year, we have celebrated reunions, entrances, new begginings, road trips, hard ships, brilliant ideas, and much more.

To boost this all off, my ward went on a youth Temple trip.
I decided to go up the night before and stay with jordan's older sister Sam. It was a blast.

It was so nice to spend quality with Jordan. Being at different schools and so busy with finals, we rarely see eachother outside of church. So, as expected, it was great.

Also as expected, we couldn't resist taking a shoe picture while waiting for the rest of the youth. >_<

On a note of "youth," twice a month, our church puts on a dance for youth ages 14-18. They are always a blast, but the really fun ones, are once a year. The "Modest-Is-Hottest-Prom." Being 14, this was my first year going. I do not believe in dating before i turn 16, so i went with a few friends, rather than a date. Most of our friends were busy, so it came down to Spencer, Jessica, and I.

This is us being random, with the editing, it turned out to look like a Dr.Pepper add. :)

It was SO much fun. I got to have fun with the girls, and then throw in some boy. ;) But we cannot continue without a thanks to my amazing sister Kristen.

She took these beautiful pictures, along with helping Jessica and I with hair, makeup, and transportation. Must I not forget, she also fed us. I'd also like to thank Jared for being there and putting up with us. (And lending Spencer your suit.)

I have great best friends. I'd like to thank Spencer and Jessica, for always being there, I love you both.

For those of you who noticed, i have to admit to getting braces. :/ There are not horrible, but there still, well, braces.
So, my brief is not so brief, I will just place a few pictures and captions for the rest. >_<

I used my crazy ninga skills to throw a suprise birthday party for Jaycob. :)

Shannon's cat had BABBIES! We got to keep one, and of course the little boys LOVE it. Jared jumped in before anyone else and named it lincoln. He is that all black one that looks like he's on steroids. (He still looks like that)

One day I got REALLY mad about harrasment going on in high schools. I decided to make a stand, well, a t-shirt company called stop the madness. A fasion statement against teen harassment. This little guy is our mascot.

This is our logo. And HECK YES we have allready sold shirts. :)

SHANNON HAD A BABY! Peyton Wesly Campbell!

I had my Hip-Hop dance performance. It went great. It felt absolutly AMAZING to be dancing again. Hopefuly this is only the start. :)

So, now you've got the update, I promise to try a keep you updated a bit more.

(p.s.) KROTEN TURNED ONE!

HELLO PORTLAND!

Over the last couple days of winter break, we went to portland to take my brother and his family to the airport. We also went up last weekend... it was a blast.

We got to see the tin man.. He was not as out going as before.. But it is still the tin man..

We went to a doughnut shop that was kinda creepy. Dad did a challenge where he had to eat a doughnut bigger than his head in under 90 seconds. He decided half way through that he would rather enjoy it.. so he didn't win.. and didn't get it for free.

Jared got the voodoo doughnut.. It was cute, and creepy.

Kroton was really good, he only woke me up once, lol.

OH MY GOSH! Dad bought live crab and made Jared cook them.... GROSS!!!!!!!

My First Year of Youth Confrence

People keep on asking me why i havent posted about youth conference, so here it is.
We started out with a speaker on friday night which i missed. Next was the friday dance with a live performance from Tycoon Tycoon. This video was taken during conference. They are performing All the Small Things. They were not FAMOUS great, but for a young springfield band, they were awesome.

After this, we went home, slept, and went back. We had 4 classes on saturday which were all based on education and were all fairly interesting. Then we had lunch.... HOTDOGS!!!! WHEW! lol! After that, we did 3 service projects. The first was tying baby quilts for the humanitarian service. The second was coloring these little number and shape games for the relief system to give to children. And the last one doesnt really count, but we all put on the lds humanitarian/relief system vests and took a picture to send so they can use it or something, im not sure. Lol! then we had someone speak to us about table ediquette, and then we ate. We had some sort of caserole, IT WAS GOOD! lol! after that, we had testimony meeting, and THE DANCE! this dance wasnt as good, but it was fun.

unfortunately, i havent been given the pictures yet, but when i do, i will post them.
